We can provide as much or as little design input as required, and with more than 30 years’ experience, we can listen and translate a client’s brief to offer creative and functional and proven solutions, with intimate knowledge of the local property market, whether this be adding value to a family home or a development to be offered to the open market. Fixtures, fittings and finishes can all be seen in our offices with the added benefit of an in-house specification and sample service. We have long-standing relationships with many specialist suppliers who look after our clients should you wish to visit showrooms on an appointment basis.
Can I meet or speak to your previous clients?
Yes, of course. Once we have met and understood what you want to achieve, we can suggest a few appropriate clients and contact them. They may be suitable in terms of the similarity in the projects, services they undertook from us or in their approach to the project.
Can you design kitchens, bathrooms, furniture, and home cinemas?
Yes, we are often asked to provide layouts and schemes for a client.
Can you retro-fit my home with renewable energy systems like an air-source heat pump, solar and photovoltaic panels and/or underfloor heating?
Yes, with input from our specialist consultants and/or the local Retrofit Coop – Powered by People, we can design and gain Planning Permission and Building Regulations consent for the range of measures for a deep or phased retro-fit of your home.
What do I need to research prior to an initial consultation?
Ideally, we want to really understand what you are looking to achieve in terms of accommodation and how your home should work for you and your family plus the feel/look. This may be a list of what you want; an open plan super-home, a cosy cottage, a rear extension, extra bedrooms, creating specific areas for a utility or home office, or remodelling the spaces you have for a new kitchen or creating an en-suite bathroom. It is great if you have images of the architectural styles or period details you like and for us to visit your current home to see what you like and dislike about it. We often create Houzz or Pinterest mood boards for our clients to pop ideas into.
If you have a fixed budget or time constraint, any special needs, that’s important for us to know at the earliest stage.
