Bespoke Homes - Theobald Road, Bowdon

Initially our client came to us wanting to renovate the existing property which was a mixture of ‘mock Tudor’ and ‘Arts and Craft’. They wanted to change the look of the house to a more contemporary design with a mixture of brickwork and stone features such as window surrounds and cills, plinths and copings. After lots of discussions, including understanding the higher build quality available with Bartholomew Homes, it was agreed to start from scratch, designing a property that would give them their dream home and tick everything on their wish list.

The front of the house was given a central focus with a two storey entrance porch with full height glazing and roof lights above. On entering the house you are greeted by a standout feature in this property, a stunning staircase by Clive Durose with seamless ebonised handrail providing a real wow factor. The house won Best Individual New Home in the LABC Building Excellence Awards
